Waterloo, ONDecember 22nd Community proudly announces that it has won Outstanding Business Series at the 8th Annual CANADIAN PODCAST AWARDS, presented from George Brown College in Toronto Ontario. These awards spotlight the best in Canadian podcasting, honouring creators, editors, and producers who captivate audiences across the nation.

Community stands out for its thoughtful, no-fluff conversations about how people actually build belonging at scale. With a clear point of view and an emphasis on real-world experience, the podcast delivers smart, practical insights on community as a growth engine—not a buzzword. Its impact lies in helping listeners rethink how business is built, shifting the focus from transactions to relationships that last.

With nearly 400 podcasts nominated, industry professionals and fellow podcasters meticulously evaluated submissions. The winners were ultimately selected based on the collective expertise and insights of this esteemed community. John Leschinski, Founder of the Canadian Podcast Awards, noted, "The calibre of winners like Community showcases just how deep the wealth of talent in Canada is, and how well it reflects the diverse attitudes, opinions, ideas, values, and creativity of Canadians."

The winners were unveiled during an exciting streamed ceremony featuring notable Canadian voices and industry leaders. This milestone marks an exciting chapter for Community as it continues to engage and inspire listeners nationwide.

This year’s event was proudly presented from George Brown College School of Media and Performing Arts, a leader in preparing students for Canada’s film and television industry, and sponsored by Shure, a global leader in audio equipment trusted by creators worldwide.

Additional support came from AmberMac Media, Web Hosting Canada, PodCamp Toronto and Leschinski Design.
