Why We Love HoneyBook
Maria and I are participating in Fast Foundations with Chris Harder right now (and yes, everyone should be in a Mastermind!), and we have been loving the value we’ve been giving, as well as trying to give it right back. We mentioned in the mastermind about how much value we’ve got out of Honeybook in our business, and we were shocked about how many folks hadn’t tried it. Taking Payments and Invoices
One of the things entrepreneurs are most worried about is the professionalism of their invoices and how they can take payments. We felt that way too in our side hustles, and honeybook was an awesome option!
The invoices look super slick and your clients will have the opportunity to pay via credit card. Of course, Honeybook takes a small cut, but it is well worth is for how easy it is to navigate and how happy your clients will be with how easy it is. It is also quite easy to set up re-occuring payments, so even for my own business, I am collecting monthly invoices without any thoughts!
Contracts
Contracts can be time consuming, and having to pay for multiple services can be annoying. We love using it to send contracts to clients, collecting signatures, and keeping them in a place we can always reference back to. If you need contracts, we recommend checking in with a lawyer you trust or buying a template online sometimes will do the trick!
Customer Management
When a customer joins our funnel, they are automatically in the Honeybook system. We are able to track how they move through our system, what we have sent them and all of our communications. This is so great for when you have multiple people working in your business, and you want to make sure that everyone is up to speed on what is going on!
Tracking Expenses in HoneyBook
Tracking your expenses is crucial when it comes to tax time, and to really know how much you are making in your business. Honeybook has a great feature that has some integrations that really helps you know where you are at in your business! It saves the need for another tool, and you are able to see a great overview of how your business is doing.
Website forms
One of our favourite integrations are the forms you can make in HoneyBook and directly embed them into your website! It allows someone to fill out an interest form or a contact form, and be put directly into your customer area on HoneyBook. They are also extremely customizable and easy to use.
